History of Midpoint

Midpoint was founded by Dr. Jenny Epoyun-William, a former UK international student, lawyer, and academic from Nigeria. She faced numerous challenges while navigating the job market, and her desire to help other immigrants avoid similar pitfalls led her to hold a webinar in 2020. Following this webinar many professionals reached out to her for advice, it became clear that establishing a network and team was necessary to realise her vision of breaking barriers to academic and business success in different communities.

Melody Amadi

Regulatory Consultant | Project Manager

Melody is a Compliance and Policy professional in the UK third sector, with a legal background and a passion for social impact, governance, and career development.

At Midpoint, Melody offers a unique perspective on interview preparation, building confidence in complex fields and progressing in sectors like charity, policy, and research especially for those exploring roles in the third sector.

With a strong belief in equitable access to opportunity, Melody is especially committed to supporting underrepresented professionals who are forging non-linear and socially impactful career paths.

Dr Olanike Adelakun

Coaching consultant

Dr Olanike Adelakun is a visionary coaching consultant at MidPoint, dedicated to empowering individuals to harness their strengths and achieve their dreams. With a rich background in personal development and a passion for transformative learning, she tailors her coaching approach to meet the unique needs of each client.

Dr Olanike believes in the potential of every individual to create meaningful change in their lives. Her commitment to fostering resilience and self-discovery makes her an essential part of our mission to bridge opportunity gaps and inspire success across diverse communities.

Dr Chinedu Miracle Nevo

Coaching Consultant

Dr. Chinedu has a bachelor’s degree in economics, a master’s degree in economics, and a master’s degree in Energy Policy. He graduated top 5% of his class. He obtained his PhD in Strategy and Business Innovation from the Open University, UK.

He currently works as a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate on a partnership between Sheffield Hallam University and Tempus Novo, funded by Innovate UK (UKRI). He is also an Associate Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University where teaches Economics, Accounting and Finance at undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. Chinedu is a certified PRINCE2 project manager.

Chimeremeze Nwokenne

Coaching Consultant

Chimeremeze is a biochemist and public health specialist. He holds a master’s degree in public health from the University of Bradford. He has built a successful career in Higher Education and in the health sector, developing expertise in project management, data analysis and stakeholder engagement.

Chimeremeze currently serves as the Campaigns Coordinator at the University of Bradford Student Union, where he plays a key role in leading successful projects. Prior to this he worked as a seasoned expert in telemedicine, and led innovations in digital healthcare solutions, optimising patient access and streamlining virtual consultations.

Ernest Obu-Cann

Coaching Consultant

Ernest, a seasoned Business Analyst at the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce (GMCC), the UK’s largest accredited chamber, brings over seven years of experience to the table. His expertise lies in leveraging data-driven insights, crafting digital business solutions and driving strategic decision-making.

Ernest consistently enhances customer engagement, satisfaction and revenue generation. Ernest holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Mathematics, along with master’s degrees in Economics and Finance for Development from the University of Bradford, and Digital Business from the University of Salford.

Adebukunola Feyisitan

Coaching Consultant

Adebukunola is currently a Study Skills lecturer at the Global Banking School(GBS), Leeds and an Associate Fellow of The Higher Education Academy (AFHEA). Prior to joining GBS in April, 2025, she was a Teaching Fellow at the University of Lincoln, UK – International Business School.

Adebukunola was a member of the PGT dissertation module teaching team with interests in the international student experience.

At present, Adebukunola teaches a range of Study Skills modules like Academic Literacy for Global Business Management, Academic Research and Writing for Global Business Management etc.

Obinna Okoye

Coaching Consultant

Obinna is a seasoned Senior Data Scientist with a decade of experience driving data-led transformation across sectors. He currently leads strategic data science initiatives at Johnson & Johnson MedTech, where he is embedded in a flagship collaboration with the University of Leeds to improve demand forecasting, inventory optimisation, and cost modelling for the UK business.

Obinna’s career spans influential roles at Pepper Money UK and First Bank of Nigeria, where he built a strong reputation for delivering impactful analytics solutions that support commercial strategy, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.

Dr Uchechi Shirley Anaduaka

Coaching Consultant

Dr. Uchechi is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Public Health, University of Alberta. Additionally, she is a co-founder and inaugural Executive Director of Thrive Maternal and Child Care Initiative (informally known as Kuzaa), an innovative social enterprise dedicated to transforming maternal health in low- and middle-income Countries (LMICs).

Through interdisciplinary collaboration, evidence-driven research, advocacy, and community outreach, Kuzaa seeks to address pressing global health challenges. She has collaborated with multiple organisations contributing to high-impact initiatives focused on health, development, empowerment and poverty alleviation.
