- Introduction & Acceptance
Welcome to Midpoint. By accessing or using our services, including coaching, mentorship, events, mock interviews, writing sessions, and retreats, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please do not proceed.
- Services & Delivery
Midpoint provides community-focused career, academic, and business coaching, including events, one‑to‑one mentorship, bespoke mock interviews, writing and business retreats, and related activities. Details of each service (such as duration, format, and method of delivery) are provided at the point of booking.
- Booking, Fees & Payment
- 3.1 Booking
Services may only be booked through our website or via WhatsApp at +44 7719 722 307. - 3.2 Fees
Fees are based on the service selected and are confirmed at booking. Payment must be made in full or as agreed (e.g., deposit then instalments) before participation begins. - 3.3 Payment Methods
We accept payment via UK options such as Stripe, PayPal, and bank transfer. - 3.4 Late or Nonsensical Payment
If payment is not received per agreement, Midpoint reserves the right to withhold or cancel the service. Late payments may incur interest or fees.
- Rescheduling, Cancellation & Refunds
- 4.1 Cancellation by Client
Clients may cancel or reschedule sessions by providing at least 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations may forfeit prepaid session fees. - 4.2 Cancellation by Midpoint
If Midpoint cancels a session, we will use reasonable efforts to reschedule or issue a refund or credit for unused services. - 4.3 Refund Policy
Refund eligibility depends on service type. Generally: - Events & Festivals: Refunds less a 10% admin fee if cancelled with 7 days’ notice.
- Individual sessions or retreats: Refunds only if cancelled 48 hours prior to the session.
- Client Responsibilities
- Clients must attend sessions punctually and participate fully. Missed sessions without proper notice may be marked as completed.
- Clients should provide accurate information and complete any agreed “homework” or preparatory tasks for effective coaching.
- Confidentiality & Intellectual Property
- 6.1 Client Confidentiality
Personal information shared by you will be handled per our Privacy Policy. - 6.2 Proprietary Content
All Midpoint intellectual property, materials, frameworks, coaching tools, is owned by us. Clients may use these for personal development but may not copy or distribute without permission.
- Disclaimers & Liability
- Coaching is not therapy, legal advice, or financial planning.
- While we strive for high-quality services, results cannot be guaranteed. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service(s) in question.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages resulting from use of our services.
- Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Midpoint and its team harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the services or violation of these terms.
- Termination
- Either party may terminate service with 7 days’ written notice.
- Midpoint may terminate immediately if a client breaches these terms, does not pay fees, or behaves unreasonably. Fees for completed services will not be refunded.
- Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes may first be attempted to be resolved by good‑faith discussion or mediation. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
- Changes to Terms
Midpoint may update these Terms at any time with notice on our website. Continued use of services after updates constitutes acceptance of new Terms.
